Vintage wall round mirror in large wicker frame

Wickerwork has always been very popular in portugal, because the technique of weaving has always been very popular. Nowadays there are still people who work wickerwork by hand. This round mirror comes from that past, maybe from the 70s. Sometimes the wicker could be a little darker or lighter, everything depended on the type of treatment and handling. As it is a natural and organic material it also undergoes changes over the years and so the lack of brightness in the frame of this mirror is understandable. The frame of this mirror is very well worked so it is still very solid and without much damage, on the other hand because it is wide and the back is reinforced with wood, making it very stable and weather resistant. As I said it has lost some shine, but the wicker has the natural color, a little darker, but still very natural. This mirror is not very big but has only 27.5 cm in diameter. It is very well preserved, no cracks, no breaks, no moisture stains. On the back it has a wire loop to hang it on the wall. It is in good vintage condition, with the normal signs of the years, the wicker is very solid however it has the marks of time, some light marks, but on a wall, for sure this mirror will make all the difference.
