Here is a coffee table signed Christian Liaigre (1943-2020) French designer and interior decorator. The Liaigre style is based on modernity based on the classic bases of the history of furniture. No stylistic effect but a luxurious simplicity, an aesthetic of purity which expresses a taste for refined detail. This coffee table is made of chestnut logs, curved at the base, it is very brutalist, it has a Japanese side. We report classic wear and friction on a table that has been used for 30 or 40 years.
