The goddess iris, sublime sculpture of phidias, born at the parthenon around 440 bc, found in venice very long after, admired endlessly, and loved by all and bought in the 19th century by the marquis de laborde who gave it a name and now one of the treasures of the louvre is here in plaster, life-size xxxl, placed on his iron workshop harness.
