Suzanne Guiguichon sideboard in blackened sycamore and gilded trim 1940

This magnificent blackened sycamore sideboard was made by suzanne guiguichon in the early 1940s. It is composed of three doors with gilded geometric threads, opening with brass handles, and revealing two shelves on the central part, and two shelves with a small drawer on each side of the sideboard. The geometric decoration in gold leaf and the brass handles contrast perfectly with the blackened and varnished sycamore. This piece has been completely restored, varnished with a shellac buffer, according to the traditional technique, and is in superb condition.
