Asian box in carved precious wood signed – Mid-twentieth

2600 - from the mid-twentieth century, very decorative, this asian box in precious mahogany type carved and signed in good condition. No lack or crack. Lid decorated with dragons with an inlaid medallion depicting a woman with a handbag and umbrella on a pontoon admiring a sunset or sunrise over a lake. On all sides different sinograms in marquetry. Under the box, engraved in hollow "sculptor ng. Phat. Taî phuocmy. V.l.1950. Inside on the lid an inlaid decoration depicting 2 swans on a vegetated body of water. Superb work of sculptures and marquetry all in finesse. Width 211 mm X 140 mm. Height 97 mm. Weight 970 g. Neat and tracked shipment.
