✨✨✨ description ✨✨✨ Revive vintage! Brighten up your table with this superb vallauris slurry serving dish from the 1960s. It's pretty round flat with vaguely irregular contours, on heel. It can be used as a cheese platter, cake dish or trivet. The enamelled decoration in relief depicts curved ears of wheat held by a double link. It is signed and numbered on the bottom: fpp vallauris france c... 43. It shows very small marks of use (some missing chips on top and a slightly larger shine (1 cm by 4 mm) on the edge of the bottom, invisible when the dish is placed (see photos). These small flaws do not detract from its beauty and charm. No chips or cracks. The fpp pottery (for "faïences et poteries provençales") was created in 1950 by joseph calvas-blanchon and jean rossignol.
