Daybed by René Jean Caillette, Edition Charron circa 1952

Elegant daybed by French designer René Jean Caillette, one of the best designer designers of the 1950s, at the origin of various very influential groups of designers (the Saint Honoré group, Group 4, and ACMS). The dark stained ash structure was designed to be easily stored, with its folding headboard and legs. The box spring has been changed, and the mattress and logs have been refurbished with a woolen sheet from the Nobilis brand. Accommodates an 80*190 mattress Edition: Groupe IV Charron, circa 1950, France.
