Large Rooster sculpture by Michel Anasse, France circa 1960

Large zoomorphic sculpture by michel anasse, french ceramist, painter and especially sculptor recognized for his dynamic animal works. Installed in vallauris in the mid-20th century, he captivated with his precise representation of nature and his technical virtuosity, as well as his four-handed work with his wife nicole.
