19th century French folding iron daybed

A most unusual and rarely found mid 19th century 'sleigh bed' style folding iron bed, made from cast iron, wrought iron and sling iron, intricately decorated with foliate designs. The bed is sturdy and folds easily, no damage to the body. The bed comes complete with a clean, custom made mattress by craftsman direct verlo (princess range), tic-tac finish. It also includes a custom silk cover with 2 cushions for each end. Custom made mattress dimensions: 166cm (65.4") long X 101cm (40") wide X 20cm (8") high.
