''Dandelion'' Sputnik chandelier by Emil Stejnar, Vienna, Austria, 1955. Produced by Rupert Nikoll. This chandelier is made of faceted glass in the shape of snowflakes. The Sputnik-type base, stem and ceiling cap are still intact and contrast nicely with the white glass that gives it a clean and fresh appearance in almost any interior. Emil Stejnar trained as a goldsmith in his hometown of Vienna, Austria. He was inspired by nature and science, of which the Dandelion chandelier is a fine example. The chandelier has twelve sockets for E14 bulbs. Its dimensions are a height of 100 cm and a diameter of 46 cm.
