Mid-century entry teak wall unit or a vanity Denmark 1960s
Description
A mid-century teak wall unit with a drop-door cabinet and a portable mirror, designed in the style of poul cadovius. It can be a functional vanity, fitting to any bedroom, entry hall, or small living room. It is also useful as an entry unit with storage for hats, keys, and small decorations. The cabinet features four drawers and a lockable door (key included). The shelves are in two different depths, the bottom one and the top one for larger items. The set up is really up to you, all parts can be moved lower, higher and intechanged. Additionally, the wall unit features a useful portable mirror placed on the wooden board that can be mounted to the wall or stand on the top of the cabinet, as it has supplementary support. The unit consists of: One shelf 20 cm deep Two shelves 24 cm deep. Two shelves 30 cm deep. A cabinet with lockable drop-down doors and four drawers; h: 30/w: 75/d: 34 cm. The key included. H: 30/w: 75/d: 34 cm; drawers height: 6 cm Mirror h: 35 / w: 66 cm Two solid wood rails 170 cm long and two 60 cm long, combined in two sections with a total height of 230 cm Brass hardware. We have upcycled most of the parts of this unit, which come from the 60s. Shelves have been refinished, and the brass-plated hardware has been polished. We have made sure that doors and drawers work smoothly and that all components fit together. The mirror has been redone. All the wood has been treated with a few layers of danish oil. We try to bring it back to its best look, still considering it is 60 years old. Clients from all around the world have already trusted our work and its fruits.
