French vintage brass up down candlestick lamp with pleated fabric shade.this delightful french vintage lamp began its life as a traditional candlestick, featuring a classic round base and an up-down mechanism for adjustable height of the candle... At some point in its storied past, it was thoughtfully electrified, transforming it into a functional yet stylish lighting piece.the lamp is topped with a unique hand made beige pleated fabric shade. The lamp has a bronze color flex on/off button and brown 2 pin european plug and takes 1 large bayonet bulb b22. The brass is in good condition, showing a lovely deep aged patina and age related marks that enhances its vintage character. Theshade is handmade and some of the bottom braid is a little uneven. All of the items we sell are second hand/vintage/antique and used, so please check the photos before purchasing as these form part of the description.
