Bench by charlotte perriand, with thirteen mahogany slats resting on a black lacquered metal structure. It can also be placed as a coffee table in a living room. The seats and backs have been restored, upholstered in porcelain rattan fabric by nobilis. Cansado is a mining town in mauritania built in the 1960s by the société des mines de fer de mauritania "miferma" to house its staff. Part of the furniture was designed by charlotte perriand between 1959 and 1967.
