VINTAGE KOKESHI BY KOBAYASHI INOSUKE / 45 CM

Magnificent vintage kokeshi, with an infectious childish smile. Her olive green kimono is decorated with colocynths, and enhanced with touches of yellow and red. It is entitled “evening moon” and was created by inosuke kobayashi (1931-?), who notably received the prime minister's prize in 1979. It shows signs of wear (see photos).
