Lovely lucky bowl, which can also be used as a pocket emptier, in "carnival" glass. Work of the famous american northwood glassworks. Circa 1910. This type of glass is called carnival glass because of its iridescent colors and fanciful patterns. The glass has a magnificent iridescent effect with hues ranging from deep purple to emerald green, blue and gold. This characteristic is typical of carnival glass. The bowl is decorated with a complex floral pattern, with stylized orchid flowers and leaves. The center of the bowl often has a smaller floral pattern. The outer patterns are called ruffles and rings. The shape of the bowl is wavy, which adds a touch of originality and aesthetics. This magnificent bowl rests on a base with 3 volute feet. Perfect stability. Good general condition, no chips or cracks. (minimal wear) see photo.
