Marble and brass coffee table, circa 60's

Beautiful, chic, vintage, france brass coffee table/cocktail, with white marble top and lacquered cladding, reminiscent of the style of the parisian design house, maison jansen, circa the 1960s - early 70s. The rectangular gilded brass frame features an "h" shaped geometric pattern, combined with curved edges in the shape of the letter "u", which have decorative ornaments on each side, and end in two, tassel-shaped, ornaments in their center. The marble top is white with multicolored veins, which contrast with the golden color of the frame, golden decorative ornaments on its legs and fluted tips, really make this glamorous table, a conversation piece out of the ordinary. The piece is in very good original and vintage condition, with slight signs of age and previous use proportional to time, as well as a patina of time, on the general structure and top (see photos.) ~ there are 2 tiny marks on the top. We took 1 close-up photo of each, next to a 1 cent coin, for perspective (see photos.). The table is sturdy, heavy and solid. It has only been slightly polished compared to the original patina of the time. A fantastic and timeless piece that will blend perfectly with any mid-century, vintage, rustic, contemporary or hollywood regency décor.
