Old world map in glass, paper and gilded metal from the georges philip & son brand, vintage 1967, in good condition. It is a unique object, it looks very similar to the french taride globes, the space for the brand is there but it is empty just above george philip & son. The manufacturer of the tarides globes seems to have tried to market its globes for a few years. The paper map is patinated and it displays some white spots, the colors are still bright, it is dated and signed. The golden tripod is in superb condition, it displays the 3 original pvc tips, it displays a slight patina. The electricity is original, there is no switch, this is an original feature. The total height is 30cm, its depth is 27cm and its diameter is 25cm.
