Rare sculpture "The Boats" Curtis Jeré's sculptures were distributed by Raymor, an avant-garde studio in New York City, and retailed at Gum's in San Francisco and other high-end stores... Under Freiler's meticulous direction, the workers, many of whom were minorities or disabled, sheared, crimped, burned, and soldered brass, copper, and other metals before coating them with luminous patina. Today, these pieces are admired by many vintage chic dealers.
