Very beautiful ceramic by jean claude courjault who worked until the 70s for keraluc in quimper, then set up his own business at la cerisaie near chinon in 1975. This model, with a very refined shape, with beautiful curves and pretty colors is signed, below in hollow "j.cl. Courjault keraluc, diplomé des beaux arts, pièce unique" and we find his signature on the edge, not far from the base. We can therefore date it before 1975, because courjault was still working for keraluc in quimper at the time. It is a salt stoneware, a technique usually used in alsace, which consists of vitrifying the ceramic by adding salt during firing, hence this particular appearance. This vase shows many colors, different tones of brown, beige, blue, gray-green reflections. This vase also has hollow elements: small round punchings that surround the lighter circles on the belly. It is in perfect condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip. The vase measures 19 cm in height, approximately 11 cm in diameter at the belly.
