Henri II overmantel fireplace mirror in solid walnut.

This authentic trumeau mirror has double sculpted columns on either side and an ornamented frieze on the upper part. The wood and the beveled mirror are in very good condition. The tain of the latter is very slightly pitted in one place (see photo), a charm of time which has done its work. It can be placed on a fireplace mantle (original use), on the floor, on an entryway unit, on a bedroom chest of drawers, in a dressing room, on a console to bring light and space in a room or used as a dressing table, etc. Dimensions (in cm): height 104, width 87, depth 12.
