Painted wooden bed, antique, late 18th century

Magnificent alcove bed from the late 18th century Louis XVI period. Purchased at drouot. It is made of wood covered with a gesso coating and painted, in pale green tones and blue-green highlights (period, not retouched). The bed frame is fixed with large screws, the spring base has been reupholstered, as well as the headboards. Very good state of conservation. I am not selling the mattress, it is suitable for a standard one person mattress 190 by 90 cm. Dimensions: Height: 117cm. width: 111 cm. Length: 199 cm.
