Serving trolley 1930

An original wooden serving tray from the 1930s. The elegant proportions, gently curved corners, together with the dazzling pattern of the walnut veneer makes this piece a great addition to any interior - whether traditional or modern. What also makes this piece special is the use of materials; from legs made of beech, the trays made of walnut veneer and the top tray being coated in resin - making this piece practical as well as beautiful. The designer / producer of the table is unknown. However the quality of the materials, the perfect attention to every detail and the overall craftsmanship of the whole piece indicates a leading manufactures at the time. This piece is in great vintage condition. Recent restoration has fully revived the extremely rich colour of the entire piece, showing off the beautiful patterns on all surfaces. The entire piece has been hand finished by shellac and nitro varnishes in order to achieve a greater gloss finish.
