Antique desk mahogany

A grand and rare large writing desk in Europe at the beginning of the 19th century (around 1920). Built from thick cuts of solid mahogany with a rich grain. The surface of writing in rabat, the perforated compartments and shelving - above three long drawers graduated with dovetail joint and clean interiors flanked closed shelving. The room is high on a base of carved stand set with carved feet of support. Offered in very good condition for age. The room is very heavy due to the thick cut of mahogany.
