Raak sterrenregen (rain of stars) is a vintage 60's design that still looks right at home in a modern interior. Model code: c-1627-20. The description in the raak catalogue is yet another example of the creativity of the marketing department: 'smaller and bigger stars prickling against the backdrop to form an as of yet unknown constellation'. The perforations on the flat surface have the effect of dew drops when lit. The light peeps out through small openings, and also is directed both upwards and downwards. This model is a design from 1966, by dutch designer evert jelle jelles. Dimensions: 27 X 27 X 10 centimeters. Behind the metal applique is room for two regular sized e27 light bulbs, 60w max or led. Wired for both 110v and 230v grid. Hardwired at the moment, also suited for use with a regular cord and switch.
