Description
Design lovers across the Channel, you will love this iconic pair of armchairs designed by designer Robin Day and produced by the English house Hille in 1967. A high-end version of the popular polyprop chair still manufactured today, this model , much rarer, is distinguished by its textile covering which covers the injection-molded polypropylene shell and its sled-type chromed steel base, as well as the presence of armrests and a foam pad, the height of comfort and elegance. A must-have in every room of the house. The armchairs are in good general condition considering their age. The shells are still shiny and soft to the touch, even if we note traces of use and sometimes deep scratches, more numerous on the back of one of the two armchairs. The textile covering is a little faded and stained in places, particularly on the armrests and backrests. The interior foam of the seat pads is in very good condition, and the chrome of the base is delicately patinated by time. Seat height: 45 cm.
