Pair of Robin Day designer armchairs for Hille

Fans of British design, you will love this iconic pair of armchairs designed by the designer Robin Day and published by the English house Hille in 1967. A high-end version of the popular Polyprop chair still manufactured today, this much rarer model is distinguished by its textile covering which covers the injection-molded polypropylene shell and its sled-type chromed steel base, as well as the presence of armrests and a foam pad, the height of comfort and elegance. A must-have in every room of the house. The armchairs are in good general condition considering their age. The shells are still shiny and soft to the touch, although there are traces of use and sometimes deep scratches, more numerous on the back of one of the two armchairs. The textile covering is a little faded and stained in places, particularly on the armrests and backrests. The inner foam of the seat pads is in very good condition, and the chrome of the base is delicately patinated by time. Seat height: 45 cm.
