This large engraving by rené pinard represents rue kervégan in nantes; fans of nantes will find it an interesting piece. It does not bear a pencil signature, but is old, no doubt. It has a natural wooden frame and protective glass. Unfortunately, the engraving is very stained and pitted in many places. The stains are visible in our photos. René pinard (1883-1938) is a french painter and engraver. He was appointed painter of the navy in 1921. Obviously, as a marine painter, most of his work has the theme of the sea, the navy and sailors. Moreover, more often the boats than the sea itself.
