Art Deco Modernist Lamp Base

Art Deco lamp, with geometric structure and contrasting materials in marble and chromed steel. Base and black elements in black marble with white veins, giving an elegant and luxurious touch. The chromed Spheres add a modern and thoughtful contrast. Additional sockets in aged brass, suggesting a vintage manufacture. The base and some details are in beige marble with red veins, reinforcing the Art Deco aesthetic. The geometric shapes and the use of spheres, a cube and angular elements are typical of the Art Deco style of the 1920s-1930s. Contrast of colors: The mixture of black, veined beige and metal creates a sophisticated visual balance. Through the elegance of the structure of this lamp we recognize the smooth volumes, the edges and the stylization of Jacques ADNET. 13 cm square base in Carrara marble topped with a stack of 2 cut black marble cubes. 2 chromed steel balls of increasing size towards the bottom of the lamp. The lamp works with a bayonet bulb, re-electrified with a new switch but with original wires and ceramic plug.
