Vintage plywood bar stool 'salve' by Ehlen Johansson for Ikea 2002

This rarely offered bar stool was designed by Ehlén Johansson for Ikea in 2002 and known as the "salve". The base is made of light wood and the seat is made of bent plywood. The stool has silver metal foot caps. The (rare) special feature of this salve stool is that it was never offered to the public in the ikea catalogue. However, many will recognise this stool, as for a while it was only used in ikea restaurants. Hence the very high collector's value, especially for (ikea) design collectors. Dimensions: high 80cm / depth 43cm / wide 50 cm. Condition: This vintage item is in exceptionally good condition. Has no damage, is clean, solid and fully functional.
