Scandinavian teak coffee table by Grete Jalk, 1960

Danish coffee table in solid teak by designer Grete Jalk for Glosturp. This model called "gj106" presents a modernist and refined design representative of the mid-century era. The top has tapered edges which add to the beauty of this piece as well as a double level with slats allowing you to store magazines or other objects, which makes this table very practical. The solid teak wood has a beautiful patina. Very good condition, a slight mark on the tray. This piece will fit very well into a Scandinavian, vintage, mid-century modern interior or associated with designer armchairs.
