Handmade kilim rug from the maghreb (berber). Kilim" is a turkish word designating the technique of flat weaving (or tapestry). This carpet manufacturing technique is different from that of knotted stitches (velvet appearance), the result is more flexible and light. The base of the carpet (weft ) is made of cotton.
