Very very rare little very old amber demijohn, late 1800, which was originally in old baskets of old ropes which were falling apart and which I could not keep. Approximately 5 to 8l, a fine glass blown with micro-bubbles of a very pretty amber brown... A beautiful scar illustrated with a very fine scratch, pretty bubbles of all sizes (see photos) and pretty “scars” on its neck, the latter “slashed”, as the only technique they mastered at the time to finish them. Depending on how you orient it, its neck will take on a slanted appearance or not. All these charming details give it a lovely uniqueness and a real authenticity which have nothing to do with the re-editions of the major decoration brands. It is cleaned impeccably. A dark or nighttime light garland is offered with each of my demijohns, as well as a bouquet of dried flowers from our pretty Haute-Marne countryside. Dimensions: d 26 x h 31 cm.
