Description
Splendid ivory paste plates from wedgwood made in england (maison rouard) around 1880. Maison rouard, in paris, is a very renowned store specializing in tableware and fire arts in general. Large black monogram in the center of the plates, the classic gadroons, and the legendary finesse, density and lightness of wedgwood. Note some chips among the gadroons and some fine shadows generally associated with very old earthenware to be seen in the photos. Shiny with slight traces of use. All stamped on the back. Rare models. Dimensions: diameter: 22.5cm. Height: 2.3cm. Weight excluding packaging: 2, 880kg.
