A set of 12 ceramic snail shaped pots. Originally a snail was baked in each pot covered with a lovely sauce of garlic, butter and parsley. Whilst these pots can still be used to bake snails if you wish. They are perfect little pinch pots for salt and pepper, great little pots to serve individual butter portions or for serving individual portions of homemade chutney alongside cheese. Use the as miniature planters, candlestick holders or as water pots for watercolour artists. The possibilities are endless! They are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Each individual snail measures 5cms/2" long X 3cms/1" deep, the openings are 2 - 2.5cms/¾"-1" diameter. Altogether they weigh 350gms/ 12ozs.
