-Set of 12 silver-plated fish forks, 'REX' goldsmith's work

Set of 12 silver-plated fish forks (18cm) from the 'rex' silversmith's house in paris, produced by 'orbrille'. 2 hallmarks on each cutlery set '18 gr & rex' and on the knife blades 'rex symbole couronne inox'. Louis XV régence style, double-sided motif of finely intertwined leaves and long stems. This series corresponds to no. 0207 in the 'rex' silversmith's catalogue. Circa 1950/1960. Note traces of use on the cutlery (see photos). This set of forks is part of a set of 87 pieces that has lost none of its splendour and will undoubtedly last for several more decades. All pieces are sold in separate lots.
