Pair of Art Deco woven rattan armchairs and table

Set of 2 armchairs accompanied by their table. Rare art deco set in colonialist style, 1930s, with splendid curves and impeccable weaving. Similar weaving pattern for both pieces: the light plays on the rattan. In addition to having a magnificent design, their inclined seat as well as the armrests are absolutely comfortable. Small carefully chosen cushions can make these wonders all the more pleasant even if the perfectly studied design is sufficient in itself. Note that one of the armchairs has a "snag" on the top of the backrest and one of the armrests shows a repair. (see photo) The weaving is impeccably preserved as a whole including under the seat, which is rare compared to their age. Since its acquisition in 2016, this set has always been kept indoors in a room heated to 24 degrees because it decorated a massage room. The table, made of the same wood as its companions, has a scratch on the upper tray. This one is not quite flat, it must have moved over time (but has not evolved since 2016). This set would perfectly complement a vintage or modern living room, a bedroom with a powdery atmosphere or a veranda with a rattan and nature style! Fans of precious, original decoration or art deco lovers will be seduced. We cannot resist the warm style and elegant charm of these lines!
