📔 About: This fantastic model 20/59 dining table was designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard for France & Søn. Made from solid teak, it has two folding leaves (called a “drop leaf” table), brass ball hinges and a unique door-shaped base in the world. Look closely at the sublime and sculptural shape of the legs, even in folded mode this table remains magnificent. Double hot stamp "Made in Denmark" and by the publisher "France & Son". Made in the mid-20th century, around the beginning of the 1960s, this table features a typically Scandinavian design with its clean form, minimalist design and the rich, clean grain of teak. A unique design that is sure to immediately attract the attention of those around you. ✨ Condition: Complete restoration of the tray carried out professionally and by hand. No scratches on the board. Table in exceptional condition, particularly for its age (nearly 65 years!) close to new. Very slight patina due to time. A notable tear on the table which was reduced after restoration (see photos).
