Description
Dimensions 86 X 43 X 119 cm (w X d X h) Elegant dieter wäckerlin glass cabinet in teak veneer with a nice grain. The minimalist sideboard sits on a black metal base and has glass corners in the front. This is a rare showcase from waeckerlins b-series, designed in the 1950s. Wäckerlin was a cabinet maker, interior architect and furniture designer from switzerland. His mid-century furniture is characterized by a puristic design language, especially visible in his famous sideboards. He developed furniture systems with le corbusier and became known for his collaboration with manufacturer behr in osnabrück. The showcase comes in wonderful condition with only minor traces of use, some small scratches and bumbs on the wood and on the steelframe, very tiny marks on the edges, nothing that detracts. The wood has been refinished. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
