Description
CM141 desk from the modernist 50s by Pierre Paulin, first designer creation, published by Thonet in 1954. A classic of certain elegance. Composed of a base with four black lacquered metal legs connected by three flat spacers. The top is made of melanin covered with black formica on the left and a drawer unit in blond teak veneer on the right. The box is made up of two drawers that open with a U-shaped black lacquered metal handle. We love the clean, minimalist look of this piece. In very good condition, the black formica surround has been refurbished, the top has remained original, it has signs of wear inherent to its great age, a few scratches etc., but very discreet in the together. Ditto on the box, the wood has its original patina, which is very beautiful and gives it all its charm. The interior of the drawers has some marks. Some light paint chips on the base. Very good general condition. - Dimensions - L 129 x D 61 x H 73 cm Drawer dimensions - L 36 x D 54.5 x H 7 and 12.5 cm
