Very old and magnificent color lithograph of butterflies - illustration of heterocera (heterocera in latin), including the gonostigma, of the suborder bombyces - this plate is an original from 1887. It is not a copy but an engraving more than 130 years old! - size: 28 X 21 cm - a detailed and realistic work from a specialized book; with about thirty different species illustrated - the condition of the engraving is very good: edges just a little worn.
