Exquisite set of 6 repertoire style chairs, made in the first decade of the 20th century in France, in walnut wood and with a seat covered in black leather. Simple structure, in richly carved wood. The backrest has an elegant curve towards the back, characteristic of the style to which it belongs. The legs, for their part, are thin, square in section and curved, following the curve of the backrest and imitating the chairs of Greek frescoes. The front legs are straight, slightly conical in shape, called "old-fashioned". The backrest is decorated with a large diamond with a circle inscribed in the center. This diamond motif reappears at the intersection between the seat and the front legs, called "diamond", an ornamental motif very common in this style.
