Trompe l'oeil centerpiece garlic basket old ceramic

Old trompe l'oeil, small centerpiece, in hand-painted glazed ceramic, italian manufacture. Featuring a small white basket filled with 9 cloves of garlic in a pyramid shape in shades of white, dark pink, yellow/cream, decorated with green leaves. Approximately 18cm high, for approximately 15cm in diameter at the widest point. Good condition, numerous small dents and small losses, all relatively discreet, one a little more visible on one of the leaves, a few a little more marked on the basket... Ceramic globe inside the basket "opened" by a large crack, but this is a crack from the firing, it is not visible. Very pretty old bucolic piece that smells of the italian countryside. Approximately 2kg.
