Description
Old rose plate representing the comtesse vandal variety. This horticultural variety was created in 1932, a superb salmon-colored rose. - this original vintage plate dates from 1968, based on an engraving by j.kaplicka, famous botanical illustrator, in the same vein as pierre-joseph redouté - size: 26 X 20 cm - the condition of this engraving is excellent. Sold unframed, but ideal for framing. This reproduction comes from a rare work published in paris and dedicated to particularly aesthetic collector roses. The colors on the board are crisp and clear: a horticultural illustration that will make a beautiful decoration. Note a text printed on the back of the board but which does not show through.
