Late Scandinavian 19th Century Country House Side Chair

Very decorative country house side chair. It’s a so-called “captain’s chair” and probably made at the end of the 19th century, circa 1880. The chair has been repainted several times and has gained quite a bit of wear and tear over the years. For me this is exactly what makes this chair interesting. It’s color is a burgundy red and the height of the armrests is 71.5cm / 28.1 inch. I bought it in denmark by the way. Completely reglued by my restorer. H X w X d = 77-45 X 53 X 45 cm.
