Friso Kramer Revolt arm chair for Ahrend de Cirkel 1953

Rare revolt chair designed by friso kramer for ahrend de cirkel, holland 1953. Though the revolt chair was already designed in 1953, the production started in 1958. The chair has a folded metal base which was very strong and a smooth black seat and back. This chair is a rare version with black plastic arms. the chair is in nice original condition, the grey lacquered metal frame has minimal wear from age and usage and the black seat and back has minimal wear from age and usage which is very normal for a chair this age. Minor damage on the bottom. Height: 81/48 cm. Width: 60 cm. Depth: 50 cm.
