Sofa bed, 1950s

Superb and rare find for this convertible sofa from the 50s. Everything is original and it is very well preserved for its 70 years you will not find. I even find that the mottled brown velvet fabric still has its place today. You can sit there 3, two or even alone and it has a major advantage: it can be converted into a single bed. By an ingenious system, the right armrest slides, you slip one of the 2 back cushions and voila, the magic 🪄 happens: the sofa 🛋️ has become a bed 🛏️ in the blink of an eye 🫰. You can lie down comfortably for a little nap or a good night 😅 The seat is made of foam and is very firm. The two "back" cushions are also made of foam. They have humidity rings but that is not too bad. The wooden structure is superb. The armrests are nicely curved. They have some traces of time. Here again, nothing too bad. In short: a very practical extra bed for small spaces. A trendy, unique, vintage, Scandinavian piece, what more could you ask for. Here are its dimensions: H backrest 80cm. H seat 45cm. L 176cm.
