Oil on canvas flowers Flanders 1914

Ancient canvas signed by Mannette Hermant de Keuster 1880 - 1957 in Antwerp. Exhibited in Brussels in 1914. Pale light from the north on a bouquet of yellow and purple flowers in tones descended into an interior of shadows. Very soft almost silent presence framed in quality gilded wood. Web full of charm. Canvas alone 32cm x 24.4cm. Frame: 38.5cm x 31cm. In good condition, with a shine under the lower molding of the gilded wood - photos.
