Antique circa 1900 george dreyfus majolica absinthe cat carafe with removable head and tail handle

Beautiful and rare antique george dreyfus, circa 1900, cream coloured majolica absinthe green eyed cat carafe with removable head. There are nostril holes for pouring the water out the cat. The tail also doubles as a handle for pouring, there is an air hole in the inside of the tail. He has a very regal air about him. He is in good condition, without cracks. There is a little knock on his nose and some paint has come away and a tiny chip on this ear. On the inside rim there is a little chip. Height: 24cm/9.5 inches.
