Description
Jacqueline gelb, a self-taught ceramist, began her artistic journey at the age of 16 in 1953, by joining a painting workshop in villefranche-sur-mer. Over time, she acquired exceptional mastery in this art, to the point of buying back the workshop where she had started. As part of her family work, she alone carried out the painting on the ceramic pieces. Her expertise and passion led her to develop a unique technique allowing her to reproduce animals on ceramic, inspired by the cave paintings of the famous lascaux cave. This artistic approach allowed him to create original and evocative pieces, thus transporting the viewer through the ages to the origins of rock art. This model with handle dates from the 70s.
