Pair french bronze victorian triple mirrored candle wall sconces , 47x26 cm

Matching pair of french victorian brass bevelled mirror triple candlestick wall sconces dating from the late 1800s. The frames are in open brass work with scrolling leaves and berries with the back plates being one piece of brass. There is a fitted hanging bracket on the back at the top of each sconce. To the bottom of the frame are three scrolling acanthus leaf arms leading to leaf shaped candle holders. The mirrors are the original bevelled plates with some bloom and pitting. These visible signs of aging make them more valuable and beautiful showing that antiques not only have history but continue to change over time. The sconces are in good antique condition with a deep time worn patina and marks to be expected. They have been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on their finish. As indicated there is some bloom and pitting on the mirrors. One of the bolts attaching the candle holders to the frame has been replaced with a screw. Wall fittings not included.
