vintage living room signed Alain Delon for Maison Jansen

Be careful to read the following, please. For sale beautiful living room set including 2 armchairs and a sofa signed by alain delon, it is a set which has always been in the possession of my sister-in-law who bought it new in the 70/80 and which I resell on behalf of my nieces being myself a pro in antiques. The living room was renovated around fifteen years ago by an upholsterer however the latter did not use the original fabric (quite fragile it is true) and made a shortcut on 3 things he placed the fabric on the old fabric when the latter was not too worn and he stretched the new fabric flat from the back but without taking it again the seam of the shell (which probably is still on the old fabric if he has not removed it) and the slight hollow which normally results from it forming a relief on the backrest. And finally he covered the living room leaving the signature plaque below (the photo of the attached plaque was taken on the sofa where we were able to remove the fabric to reveal it), it is still an alain delon living room but which is no longer quite original 'origin. For my part, this announcement is aimed primarily at a professional buyer who will be able to restore it to its original state before putting it back on sale or at an individual aware of what he can acquire and accepts it as said, the connoisseur will easily recognize the look desired by the signatory apart from the details mentioned the living room is generally in good condition, it of course has some traces or stains of use (which should go away with a good shampoo) it is ready to resume quickly of the service as the case may be. Of course the asking price is established based on the elements described above and has no bearing on the actual price of this rare and exceptional vintage set if it were in perfect condition. The set is to be picked up in the strasbourg region, shipping to metropolitan france is possible but to be agreed before purchase.
